Full stack PHP Developer

Job Title: Entry-Level PHP Web Developer with Joomla Experience

Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Websites: Work on developing and maintaining websites using PHP and Joomla.
  • Client Project Management: Ensure client projects are handled with the highest level of care and attention to detail. Understand client requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with designers, developers, and other team members to build, test, and deploy web applications.
  • Support Joomla-Based Projects: Assist in the creation, customization, and management of Joomla components, modules, and templates.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve issues in web applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Write Clean Code: Follow best practices for coding, including writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Document Work: Maintain clear and thorough documentation for your code and development processes.

Requirements
- Educational Background: Recent graduate from a coding bootcamp or a relevant degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience with PHP: Basic understanding of PHP and experience with PHP-based projects or coursework.
- Familiarity with Joomla: Hands-on experience with Joomla, including knowledge of components, modules, and templates.
- HTML/CSS Skills: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for web design and layout.
- JavaScript Knowledge: Basic knowledge of JavaScript for interactive web elements.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Enthusiasm for Learning: Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve existing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio: A portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing your PHP and Joomla projects is a plus.
- Experience with MySQL: Basic knowledge of MySQL for database management and queries.
- Experience with Wordpress or Joomla.
